There's CCA this thursday, 3june2010, from 2.30 to 6.30.
Everybody including Sec 4s have to come down for CCA (practice included!!!!) then attend handover from 5.30-6.30 ok? promise? hooked pinkies? :))))

There'll be CCA the following day (friday, 4th of june 2010) too so please come down for cca. (this is not a request ok)
Sec 4s don't have to turn up for CCA anymore.

There'll be CCA on the last week of school as well (:

Hi Laxian,

Jubilate VII is coming! We have only 2 weeks of school practices and this week there will be no CCA for Sec 3 and 4s. To maintain our standard, pls practise more frequently esp this week!
Musicians can't be lazy, once we stop practising, our standard drops. And then other ppl will judge us. WE CAN'T ALLOW THIS. So practise! :)

Don't slack too much during sectionals! We all know what we've done, spending much time talking amongst ourselves...

Oh and I'm sure yall have some time on the computer. Listen to other orchestras play and you'll know how lousy we are and how we can improve to be better. Yay then tell us how we can improve at our FB group!

I bet you guys had fun at the interaction... for those who didnt go, you guys really missed out alot... The morning sucks but the games part was fun... ^^ is like go there main piority is to play games inside of play songs cause most of the time is playing games... ^^

Erm, the lunch was... spicy? taste kinda wierd cause is like a bit fried rice than got damn lots of green chilli? and the meat is like... red and spicy?

The water bombs was fun... not to mention how they use a hose! When I first saw I was like... wth... shit, if they use that, than dont need hide le, cause even 100 metres apart also can spray one... but in the end cannot use... ^^ oh... and not to mentioned how we got 'betrayed' by our friends... what a friend huh? I was kinda happy... cause I managed to hit that bloody grp leader of mine... so slack one lor he... so just smack the bomb on him... ^^ and we tilted the entire bucket on him... ha! so fun... serves him right...

“Hi dear! did you miss me?” -and he gave me a GREAT BIG HUG right at the doorstep, leaving me BREATHLESS-

“OH, SURE I DID!” -sense the irony in it yo!-
“Fear not, my dear! you’ll get to see me 24/7 from now on! and today’s Valentine’s Day! we shall start CELEBRATING it now!” -with enthusiasm-
“Oh, that’s soooo NICE of you! what’s that behind your back?” -was actually hoping for just a few pieces of crappy ws-
“I’ve got something SPECIAL for you!” -he finally revealed. and i was SO PLEASED to find a BOUQUET of FORMULAE! LOVELY..-
“AWW.. that’s so SWEET of you, darling! come on in!” -i VOLUNTARILY invited him in and shut the door reluctantly..-we sat down at the table, and i asked,

just by staring at his FLAWLESS LOOKS, i was so ENCHANTED that i almost fainted on the spot. i had no choice but to call MR NICE GUY to deliver a dozen cartons of MEDICATED OIL to my house, just to ensure that i won’t pass out anytime during our DATE..-
“Er, no thanks, darling! for your information, i’m actually on a DIET recently..” -i kindly rejected the thought of more DISHES piling up on the table-
so, we had our AWESOME DINNER with CANDLELIGHTS burning till MIDNIGHT. and when i wanted to watch the television, he told me that it’s a WASTE of TIME on Valentine’s Day if we do that. =.=

in the end, we spent our time CUDDLING TOGETHER in my STUDY ROOM. he HELD me so CLOSELY and TIGHTLY that i couldn’t BREATHE. isn’t he HOT? and i just couldn’t LET GO OF HIM EITHER! -sense the sarcasm here?-he didn’t leave my house until this morning.. after i WOKE UP, he finally left. cuz last night, he told me that my house was TOO ACCOMMODATING for HIM, so he couldn’t BEAR TO LEAVE ME HERE. and i AGREED to LET HIM STAY without second thoughts. (mygosh, how else silly can i get?)

oh, and i just realised that he left me some stuff. MORE V-DAY GIFTS! YAY! -take pity on me, anyone?- :(
he left me with..
1) a limousine of HEADACHES (isn’t he a RICH and FABULOUS guy?)
2) an invitation card to a BALL (Socratic Seminar) on TUESDAY, 17th feb, 1100 to 1230, held at TA25 (my classroom). and there’s a note attached to it, saying: STAND A CHANCE TO WIN THE FULL 15% FOR YOUR IS1102 SEM 1 MODULE OR FAIL IT AND BALEK KAMPONG!! and please rmb to bring your BRAIN, MOUTH AND TEXT WITH ANNOTATIONS!! or else, NO ENTRY!!
3) 2 IH group projects
4) 2 MI projects (1 indiv, 1 group)
5) a LOVE LETTER, and all that i can remember: I’LL BE BACK, WITH MANY MORE GIFTS FOR YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY!! LOVE, MR HANDSOME HOMEWORK :D

Okay so I know that you all think I'm full of nonsense (trufax) and that you're probably wasting your time reading this rubbish post but i love writing rubbish. Wow, that explains a lot.

You know what makes laxian so different from all the other sections? 8D
It's the fact that we don't need frets nor markings to play our instrument, we only have two strings to depend on, and that our instruments can play all sorts of music. (fast, slow, soothing, fierce. You get my groove?) And the most special thing about laxian is that we're able to move as a section. I don't exactly mean it literally but yeah you can see it that way too. I'm sure you all know from the recent SYF that dreams do come true, yeah? Yeah baby~ So let's move together as a section with the whole orchestra as one to achieve greater heights, all right? ;D

Hello LAXIAN of the all-awesome SNCO =)

Thank you Huaitian for creating this blog! HAHA there seems to be outpouring of love for Boys over Flowers sweethearts Kim Bum Kim Joon and Kim Hyun Joong! Hmm i like Kim Bum best, maybe cos of his role haha =DD

I shall dedicate a post to all of you, especially my sec 3 and 4 juniors whom i still have memories with! Like eat together in one table in the canteen during breaks, sit in the cramped co room staring at each other and liulaoshi, and of course coaching you all when you were sec 1s! OHH and I still rmb how irritated i was at LBS (aka pear) for scolding us so frequently. I hope he doesnt do this nowadays..But haha nvm you all have each other to spend time with!=) My advice is heed his constructive comments and ignore the rest =P

But whatever happened during my absence, im really PROUD of you all! You all have achieved the highest standard ever possible this year! All the hard work you all put in definitely paid off! May you all continue to enjoy playing CO music and look forward to any upcoming performances! I heard there's one in december, and im most prob going back if materialises to SEE YOU ALL! =D

Oh and i have good news! for those of you who bought the GECO concert tickets, there's an arts grant from NAC of 60%! So it'll cost only 4.80 and 7.20 for 12 and 18 dollar tickets respectively! All you must do is keep and stubs and pass them to me after concert and i'll claim from nac and return you all the balance =)) Anybody else who wants tickets can tell me, oh Amanda Aw (my batchmate) is peforming too, for some of you who know her =)

Ahhh i hope your eyes arent tired after looking at this long post! haha paiseh. Enjoy your holidays! for the sec. 4s, persevere and dont give up! I think you'll look back fondly to your sec. school days when you come to jc (like me), so must treasure your time now ah you all! =) Cherish your days in SNCO =)
